Julia Rose Katz is a New York-based art historian.

She is the co-author with Devon Dikeou of Permanent Accident, a visual essay published by zingmagazine books.

Her research has been generously supported by the Chester Dale Fellowship at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York (2025-26), the Anthony M. Clark Rome Prize at the American Academy in Rome (2024-25), and the Fondazione Lemmermann (2023).

She is currently a PhD Candidate in Art History at Rutgers University.
