Julia Rose Katz is a New York-based art historian and curator.

She is the co-author with Devon Dikeou of Permanent Accident, published by zingmagazine books.

Her research has been generously supported by the Chester Dale Fellowship at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York (2025-26), the Anthony M. Clark Rome Prize at the American Academy in Rome (2024-25), and the Fondazione Lemmermann (2023).

She is currently a PhD Candidate in Art History at Rutgers University.
